Delivery Quick but Lacked Flavor. Delivery was quick; however, the food lacked flavor. We ordered steamed dumplings, egg rolls and General Tso’s. General Tso’s had ok flavor but we should have passed on the dumplings and eggs rolls. No flavor. You never would have guessed that the steamed dumplings had any meat unless you looked inside.
The service was excellent, the atmosphere is pretty good. The food used fresh ingredients and tasted pretty good. The main issue I see with Chef Chu’s is that they don’t specialize in any type of Asian food. They are all over the place with Thai, Japanese and Chinese. I think a lot of authenticity of the different dishes is lost when you are trying to do everything. So the food was pretty good, not great. But I would go back for the good service, atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Great food. I love Chinese food and since finding them I’ll not order sushi any place else, Chef Chu makes it to order, it is fantastic, the wait staff is fantastic, you go in there twice and they remember what you ordered the first time, love it. All their dishes are made fresh as you order them, lovvve it. Thanks Chef
My favorite Chinese Restaurant. The food is amazing! I always feel so welcome and well accommodated. I have somewhat of a strange pallet. This does not deter the staff as they are so patient with me. Sometimes I just drop in for lunch and name off a flavor or particular vegetable I want and they throw together a special dish just for me which is always delicious and satisfying!
Ordered food for take out and it was ready really quick. Accidentally ordered two larges and it was waaay too much food for two people. The General Chows was very good but Orange Chicken had an almost overpowering flavor. The chicken was good quality and not grisly pieces like most places.
Was my favorite Chinese food place for years and was happy when they moved to Green Bay from Appleton. Unfortunately the quality has seemed to be getting worse through the years, wait staff isn’t very good and the prices have raised to the point I don’t find it worth it anymore.
