Cardboard on the Food. It was my first time visiting Taste of India but I can say it might be my last. We found a piece of cardboard in our food. We told the waiter and he insisted it was a spice. However, it is definitely a cardboard box. Interestingly, the other wait staff started apologizing to the adjacent table regarding our complain. It was the wrong table. When they realized that it was the wrong table, both wait staff left and did not even bother to come to our table. After 20 minutes, the female staff went back to our table to apologize and explain why there was a cardboard in our food. She then asked if we want extra rice, I said no but would love some Naan. She said, no because that will be another order. I said OK. She asked again about getting rice but we were good. When we said no, she suddenly offered to give us free Naan because of the incident. I said No. I think it was a little unprofessional to tell us that we have to pay for it then suddenly change your mind and offer it for free.Nonetheless, when she gave us the bill, she added $5 discount for the inconvenience that caused us. However, i think that situation could have been handled better in the first place.

Great food and great atmosphere!. Has a wonderful menu with a wide variety food, for food lovers of all kinds! They offer a wonderful dinner for two, that allows you to try and enjoy many different kinds of food for a really nice price! I can say it was my first time having Indian food and it makes me want to go back again because it was delicious!
Absolutely delicious. Price is right for an amazing lunch. Attentive, but not oppressive staff, very clean. So worth a trip. We don’t live in Green Bay, but will definitely make the trip again.
We come here fairly often. Though we have never been to India, we have been to many Indian places. Taste of India is always a good reliable spot. The food is always hot and fresh. Its as mild or as hot as you request. The Ginger nan is a favorite. It may be our city’s only Indian restaurant but it doesn’t mean it isn’t well worth a try.
Little red riding hood would have felt very comfortable here…the bright red decor hits you hard. Reminds me of Indian lorries with faux leather seats.I ordered vegetarian fare, very simple, very difficult to mess up. Out came the papads. They were almost orange in color and burnt to a crisp. No flavour. Thus far I fear disappointment. The server brought the food out in ten minutes. My onion naan was nice and crispy, just the way I wante it. The daal makhani which is regular fare in any Indian restaurant is a good tell. The flavor and chef skills can be rated just based on this.I will say that it was one star out of five. I will not be visiting this restaurant again, a pizza delivery is preferable.
