  Poor Service. I have some advice for anyone interested in trying the Envoy Restaurant at the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee – Don’t use a Groupon. We purchased a $50.00 Groupon for the Envoy and realized the date had expired. According to the Groupon rules of use, we should have received the original $25.00 back as a credit to our meal. That wasn’t the case. We were told they wouldn’t accept the expired Groupon and a certificate of equal value would be sent to us in it’s place. That didn’t make us all that happy – but we went along with it and gave them our mailing address. That was in late November 2013 and here we are today, January 7, 2014, and no coupon and no reimbursement. Groupon has stated they will try to work with Envoy to get our $25 back. I have spoke to the Envoy management at least four times in the last month – no action or return phone calls as of yet. I have a feeling they think I will forget about this issue….that won’t happen.As for the food and service – average at best! The customer service regarding the Groupon issue – POOR. Milwaukee has some excellent dining options – Envoy is not on that list.

  Good Service, Horrible Food. Envoy was very accommodating to our large group, we were seated in a private room off the main dining area. Our server was delightful and not too intrusive while we conducting our meeting. However, the food was horrible, at least the mushroom wrap was – picture 3/4 of the wrap lettuce & sprouts, then a few tomatoes, but only on one side of the wrap, and mushrooms (not many at all) that were breaded to the point I didn’t even taste any mushroom. Difficult to eat too. Will NOT be going back for the food.

  Best bloodies!!!. Best Bloody Mary in the city! A little pricey at 10 bucks for rail, but they are loaded! Brunch was good, but slow. I was surprised that it being so busy there was no busser or assistance for my poor server who was running herself into a sweat.

  Phenomenal Brunch!!. Decided to enjoy brunch somewhere new for a lazy Sunday. Our server was Traci and she was sensational. The all you can eat brunch of small plates was great, filling, and delicious. Server was prompt, on the ball, if not even ahead of the game. We were never waiting, always had cocktails, water, and coffee and the food was coming as fast as we wanted it. Very impressed!! Will definitely go back

  Bad Service, Bad food. 16 of us went to Envoy for brunch last week. It took 1 hour to get our first order. No drinks or water were offered while we waited. The second order took another hour, again without any apologies or compensation. When management was approached they became angry and defensive. Calls to upper management have gone unreturned. I will never go back.
