Ham and rolls on Sunday, be ready to wait. Long lines and for good reason. Bakery is very good! Go all the time.
Good sub sandwiches. Stopped in here the other day to price out a cake (after finding this place through a Google search). I can’t speak to how the bakery is as we only sampled a macaroon, but we did have lunch from the deli. The Italian Classic sub was excellent and everything on it was freshly prepared. The bakery items certainly looked delicious though I was slightly disappointed to learn they get their ‘death by chocolate’ cake from Sysco. I’d like to return to try the bakery items as well as a few other foods they had for sale such as their homemade pizza dough/crusts, and pizza sauce.
Sunday Morning Party!!!. This is an amazing bakery! Get there right when they open on Sunday morning (7a.m. earlybirds!), and you’ll find a line of people waiting for the bakery to open! While you’re waiting in line, grab a cup of free coffee that they put out on Sunday! Doughnuts are huge, delicious and fresh! And you won’t find a better deal…they’re only .80 cents a doughnut! I like to grab a pound of hot ham (comes with your choice of rolls) for lunch as well! Dog bones are 3 for $1.00, so don’t forget about Fido while you’re there!
Terrible. We stopped in to pick up a few things to try and ended up throwing them away. One of which was a bismark filled with cheap, disgusting yellow gunk. Another was a brownie that was too dry to even consider, and some other bakery item that isn’t even worth mentioning.
Best Bakery in Bayview. Always they have the best cookies and pies. Hot ham and rolls on Sunday. Delicious home made cookies in any variety you could possibly ask for anywhere. The staff of mostly women are always polite and considerate. Certainly service with a smile.
Everything they sell is amazing. From the cookies to the cakes. The hot ham and rolls for 6 bucks in Sundays hit the spot. Very good. You may have a little wait around noon on Sundays. So get there a little early. The best bakery in the Southside of Milwaukee.
Wonderfully crafted Italian sweets, but the hard rolls are tops!. THE best hard rolls in town. Dutchy Crust, my favorite. Crispy outer shell, soft and delicious inside. Excellent ham on Sundays — buy a pound and you get a half dozen free hard rolls — a Milwaukee classic.
