By the looks of every plate that passed in front of me these guys take their bar food seriously. It only took umpteen hot fried chicken sandwiches fly by in 20 minutes to tell me that is the one to have. Do yourself a favor and have one. My buddy had a burger and it also was spot on. Some of the reviews on here (albeit almost 3 years old) were a little haphazard so I was a bit hesitant to try. I’m glad I did. I’ll surely be back to handle that burger.FYI I found out that they also own honeypie cafe and you can get honeypie’s pie slices at palomino too!
So, grass fed beef is nice… generally above average tavern food here, with generally inexperienced or studiedly indifferent servers (not so nice). someday soon tater tots will begin to fade a bit as a ubiquitous presence at the self-imagined gastro-pubs, and new options will emerge. Not awful at all, and a nice location, but still, meh…
