The food wa exceptionally good…quality and quantity was worth the bucks…not a fine dining and not a mid range too..hookah flavours were good…we personally loved the starters and the dessert…chicken was tender and awesome
I would suggest to try this place for good middle eastern. We have been there on Friday night for dinner and we have to wait for 15 – 20 minutes to get a table. But over all it’s good with food and service.
I’m writing this review because I was disappointed with the service, food, and ambiance and want to warn others of the main issues at casablanca. First, I had a reservation and was told by an unprofessional tattooed blonde that I had to sit at the bar and wait for my table. That was what immediately killed the ambiance and service because the traditional middle eastern feel was lost and it felt like a trashy/disorganized bar. The music was so loud that I couldn’t enjoy normal conversation with friends, so if you want a relaxing experience, this is not the place for you. The food is very average and bland compared to other middle eastern restaurants. The rice tastes like plain yellow Mexican rice and the chicken doesn’t have any flavor either. I was turned off that my server was smoking at the bar when I needed a drink refill and when I got up to ask another server for water, the guy said that wasn’t his job to help my table. Overall, it’s not a place that I would recommend to friends nor would I ever return.
Popular east side spot and for good reason… Service is great, food is good. Can be a little crazy so be prepared to wait on the weekends. Menu has plenty of great choices.
Simply loved the food. Came in for a buffet lunch with mates. Enjoyed the variety of cuisines offered- my favorite falafel and baba ganoush were yum. Friendly courteous staff. Belly dancing is indeed an add on Saturdays. Must go when in Mke!
I have been here Once and the experience Was OK given that this is The middle eastern restaurant, I had high expectation. Did not get disappointed however did not met the expectation more customized for US. even the Spicy food was less spicy. Apart from that the food tasted good, ambiance was OK. Seems like little crowded the main attraction here is the belly dance on in days and the all you can eat buffet on Saturdays for lunch. I may be back here for Saturday buffet _ more to come So far the experience is OK.My Verdict: Food-OK, Ambiance OK.May recommend this place for a Vegetarian.
This place is around the corner from my boyfriends place. Being that it’s open late and I can’t handle jimmy johns I’ve ended up here from time to time. Never again. Food is pretty good. Ambience isn’t even a word you could process in that place *cough* *trash* and the staff is terrible!!! Worst in the city. Gotten worse service there paying $$$ than in a dive bar. Won’t be back. Too bad cause I love middle eastern food. I’ll stick with my place on the south side.
