Glad I didn’t wait the two hours I originally would of had to wait last night , not worth it. Went today rite when they opened . Ordered fried pickles to start out , half were burnt. People have been raving about this place and it’s defiantly over rated . The wings are baked and fried which left them kinda more on the dry side . There defiantly better then your chain wing place such as Bww but nothing about them makes me wanna go back ( kinda reminded me of Pizza Hut wings ). I would suggest maybe ordering them with a extra sauce on the side . They do have a big beer list and the atmosphere is chill which was nice .
Wings and Beer. I really like this place, but you can’t go there and be in a hurry. The wings take a while to cook and they’re not cranking them out. But I think that’s what makes them better. It’s not the standard crap at BWW. They’re fried and then grilled to lock in the flavor. And the beer. Great selection on tap and bottled. A great place to chill and relax.
Okay, the other food items? Eh.. But I’d be pretty amazed to meet someone who doesn’t like their wings.. Their bartenders seem pretty nice.. That’s a positive.. But if you’re there on a day there’s any wing special..( which I’m unsure but I thought they did away with Thursday deal? ) but anyhow– be ready to wait because they’re just not equipped to be cooking for the insane amount of people that come in.
Wings are one of the best in the city. Grilled and taste awesome. Prices are a little high if you dont come in during wing night. The only thing that sucks about Points East is how slow the service is. Nothing has changed over the years. One small grill for a bar full of people who all want the same thing. They get you to drink while you wait an hour and a half for your wings. Dont know if the owner has restrictions on building, but his business could be so much better if they decreased wait times. It is what it is. Be prepared, get a pitcher cause you will have time trust me.
No phone orders make up for awesome wings. I was utterly annoyed that a restaurant (ok, pub) wouldn’t take phone orders. I mean, how good could these wings be if I had to go to the bar and order and wait for 40-60 minutes? Yes, the wings were THAT good. Crispy, hot (not too hot), and grilled. Yum. Worth the wait. Seriously good. The sweet potato fries are not good on their own, but if you get some guacamole, YUM! nice beer list, cozy place. Great TVs (about 4-5 large ones if you want to watch a game). Will be back.
Trailrunner4life. Wings are amazing. Probably the best I’ve ever had. Perfect amount of heat and spice. Crispy but not too dry. Good atmosphere. Kind of a chill, sports bar feel.
