Shamrock shake. Wow, tried Cafe Manna a rainy cold afternoon in April. We were greeted by friendly and well informed staff. Tried the shamrock shake which was GREAT! The shake was like a meal itself. Our server answered all questions, even ones about the mouthwash in the restroom. If this was a public owned company, I would buy stock. I am very interested in the cooking classes. I can’t say enough about Cafe Manna from the food, the staff; just plain everything was great.
Great food POOR service! Went for dinner on 9/19/14 at 8.30pm, first waitress was reluctant to gives us a table, even though it’s closing time is 9pm! Then she asked us if we knew what we want to eat even before asking drinks! When asked for ice water gave plain water, rushed the bill. Just bad rushed service due to which could not enjoy good food!
Wonderful all around. I typically don’t eat at Caf Manna just because I am very low budget and have learned to make my own really awesome healthy dishes at home. But when I do splurge, Caf Manna is the place for me to go. The food is flavorful, but not in an additive kind of way. It’s real food, and all you are going to get is real food flavor. I don’t have to worry about feeling yucky after eating it. And, they have a very nice presentation of the food. It actually looks like the menu pictures so you get what you see. They are also very genuinely friendly and accommodating. I forgot my CSA there and the manager rescued it, bagged it, put it aside and let me pick it up at the counter. She was very understanding about my forgetfulness.
Liked it. Just had an appetizer and a couple of drinks on the outdoor patio.. The food and service were great. only recommendation would be to change the musical format from classical to new age or acoustic or something like that….and then turn up the volume a little bit so the surrounding tables can’t hear every word of your conversation
Only 25% Good,. Wed. 5 pm 3 tables seated we were number 4. A light dinner took 1,1/2 hours. Poor service. Seemed like server was also cook. The Green tomatos were Great! Main dishes, the Portabella sandwich was COLD! The Bread was clearly not fresh. The Zuchini pasta and had one or two bites. It took 15 minutes of trying to get service to get a check. $75 of our hard erned cash burned!
Love this place!. I have been many times, but, i just have to write and say that I love this place! I lately have had to curtail my eating habits= off wheat products and sugar for 8 weeks! what am i going to do? i am a foodie after all….!!!!Cafe Manna sure helps these 8 weeks go by smoothly! wheat? bread? no worries- gluten free, vegan- whatever your boat–it’ll work here! Their Lentil soup is fabulous. The beet salad is divine! Lunch was great- had their Quiche du jour- spinach and mushroom. Everything delish and kept me on the straight and narrow- which is hard considering my limitations! Thank you Cafe Manna!
