Pretentious. Good food, but service was not very welcoming. We had several wine samples and were very disappointed- tasted cheap and poorly made and the wine decanters were ridiculous. If you know anything about wine, don’t bother.
Keith. Party of 6, great food, service and price (under $30 per person with drinks and tip). I will be going back when in the area. My plate the TRIO OF MEDALLIONS was unbelievable.
Not going back. I’m not impressed with service. I tried Cooper’s Hawk 4 times. 1st time was a nice afternoon lunch and nice service. The other 3 times for dinner. Terrible! Unfriendly people. I can find another great restaurant to spend my hard earned money where the staff actually smiles at me and is customer friendly. It’s too bad the restaurant is beautiful inside and the food is good, but the staff is too unfriendly for my taste.
My Favorite Place To Eat. My husband and I are out of town 3 weeks out of the month for work, but when we’re home we can always count on Cooper’s Hawk for a place to relax and enjoy outstanding service, a fabulous menu and amazing wine. We are part of the wine club and love everything about the place. Every time we come in we experience phenomenal service- not even just from our server that day, but from all members of the straff- even hostesses who stop by our table to see how everything’s going. Everyone in that place goes above and beyond to make us feel apart of the family. I have yet to experience anything to the extent of which other reviewers have stated on here. People make me mistakes and accidents happen and I will ALWAYS come back, even if something did go wrong, because they’re people too. I have a hard time believing anyone at Cooper’s Hawk would be blatantly disrespectful they way some reviewers claim. People need to lighten up. I love Cooper’s Hawk… Especially the Gnocchi Carbonara! It’s FABULOUS and I never finish it, which is okay because I love the leftovers. And the moscato? MY HEAVENS. Take it from me, Cooper’s Hawk is amazing.xoxoLinda
Bad Experience. Food was OK – my dish was over done. My friend’s dish was not warm anymore by the time it was served. Long wait for everything including service and food. Had similar experience to some of the other poor reviews. Other tables sat, ordered two courses, paid and left before we even had our food. No explanation. Staff is OK, some were unfriendly. Manager was very rude and unprofessional. I just don’t think I’d go there again.
Not worth it. The wait staff are unfriendly and at times snooty. Don’t ask for a manager to complain it took 25 minutes to get a glass of water and over an hour to get your meal because they are even worse. Over priced food, especially when your meal arrives cold. I’ve tried a couple menu items and it’s nothing special. If you want a nice meal go to Bravo instead. It’s not worth the time.
Service?. Took my wife for an appetizer and glass of wine on a Sunday afternoon. Waitress was very knowledgeable on the wine and even brought out a few samples which was very nice. The wine samples were out almost immediately. She said she would bring water and bread while we were looking through the menu. We ordered flatbread and a cup of lobster bisque. Again stating she would bring out water and bread. After about 10 minutes we still had no bread or water and the few tables around us were already getting their appetizers (they had already enjoyed the bread). Water finally showed up. Waited approximately 5-10 more minutes. Bread was finally brought out by someone else. Waited another 10 minutes or so. Incorrect soup was brought out. Realized she made a mistake a few minutes later, she returned with the Lobster bisque. The soup was very good by the way. Waited another 10-15 minutes. The table next to us that showed up after us was already wapping up their entries (after they had enjoyed a flatbread appetizer). Waitress brought out our flatbread appetizers and did not even apologize for the delay. The flatbread was very good, but should not take 45 minutes to arrive at table??? With how slow our server was on a Sunday afternoon, I can’t imagine how it would be on a Friday or Saturday night.
