Poor service. Attended a luncheon reception today, Sunday, September 7th at the Brookfield Location – food served family style – – serving forks and spoons missing from the food platters – dressing provided for the salad but no spoon to put dressing on the salad – eventually the people at our table ended up using up all our own silverware and had no silverware for dessert or coffee – no salt and pepper shakers provided on the tables – coffee served much later than the dessert and service staff upset when asked to provide, spoons, cream and sugar. This is all basic stuff but none was provided – I guess a MANAGER didn’t like us – I won’t consider your resturant in the future and to think I thought highly of your resturant in the past! Hair in my food!
Consistent and underrated. This was my second visit to North Star Bistro. Both times, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was romantic and relaxing. The food itself was fabulous, from the eggplant and zucchini fries to the butternut squash soup to the extremely tender beef short rib in a port wine sauce over white cheddar mashed potatoes with sauteed spinach. Portions are enough and, I think, reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I was too full for dessert!
Consistently good food. My family and i go here often, and we always have good food. I love the grilled chicken sandwich and the scallop salad. the french onion soup is also amazing. the sunday brunch is also always very good.
The food is good quality, but portions are small. Prices are high for the area.
You get what you pay for.. Prices are what I’d expect to pay, but the food is mediocre. It seems lost in a 1995 timewarp. Boring.
Fabulous! & Fun. Thurs happy hour very cool. Great brunch, nice wine list.
