Family favorite!. Whebever my large extended family wants to get together for good food at a reasonable price Panera is the first restaurant we think of. Several of us are on modified diets and we are always able to find a good selection. My nephew has even worked at a shop in La Cross when he was in college. The soups, salads and bread are always fresh and delicious!
Update, better–at least the location in Oak Creek. This is a general comment for the entire Panera locations. I have normally bought the tuna sandwiches which were hearty & very flavorful. Within the last year, not only do they fail to mix the tuna salad properly (you have large chunks of tuna that do not have the dressing mixed in at all). Gross( to me anyway). Plus where they used to give you more tuna salad on your sandwich, now they are getting less generous. Don’t go there very often anymore…UPDATE, Oak Creek is better. I just ask for extra tuna & the sandwich actually is what I consider a sandwich, not the wimpy one prior to the extra tuna.
A+ Panera. The atmosphere at this Panera is particularly nice. It’s a large location, that’s always clean and bright. The ordering line moves quickly, and the food is up rather quickly considering the volume of people they serve for a busy lunch.
