The place is always pretty darned ok goodish. A good non-strip-mall option in the fabulous suburb of Brookfield. Service is always friendly, and also always spotty on timing. Last visit, sat at a nice wine bar area for over ten minutes before a bartender appeared. After serving the requisite wine, she disappeared again, but was very pleasant and made up for it as evening wore on. Recommend.

Low quality food with poor service. Was there last weekend and was hoping to find a good Italian restaurant. Unfortunately it was very bad and we won’t be back.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely dinner this evening. We were greeted promptly and were seated immediately. Service began as soon as we were seated and the meal was well paced. For starters, I had the house Caesar – surprisingly and deliciously garnished with finely chopped tomatoes, onions and parsley – with a hint of Italian dressing combining with the traditional Caesar. Very refreshing. My wife had a cup of the roasted red pepper soup – creamy, delicious and with a touch of heat. Our entrees included the fried walleye with fries (excellent) and the pecan encrusted tilapia served over a bed of chopped asparagus, roasted potato wedges, Gorgonzola cheese and garlic toast points. Wonderful flavors. Our server (Sunny) was knowledgeable, pleasant and attentive. With drinks (a diet coke and a Weiss beer) our bill came to $40 before tip. There is a lovely ambiance inside, as well as an ankle bar. We will be back, as there are many more tempting options on their menu. 4/5 for this visit.
