Good whiskey burger. I enjoyed my meal, thats all I know. It’s not fine dining, but a place you can feel comfortable in wearing jeans. Not a bad place for a date or out with friends.
Terrible Service at Harry’s Bar and Grill. Very disappointed in the service, especially by the manager. She refused to address our concerns. I ordered the 1/2 chicken dinner and only received a chicken thigh. I didn’t eat a bite, because I wanted to point out the discrepancy. I asked the server, who agreed with me, but said I would have to speak to the manager. The manager was not at all customer oriented. What could have been resolved quickly turned into a most unpleasant experience. I feel cheated by the restaurant. I did not get what was written on the menu. We paid for the meal, and tipped the waitress well since it wasn’t her fault…but the manager should be fired as she is harmful to the business.31 Jan, 2015Terrible Service at Harry’. When it comes to breakfast in Milwaukee, Harry’s is hard to beat! Harry’s puts a creative twist to the breakfast classic, with the pancakes of the week. From Oreo pancakes, to fruit creations, you are certain to enjoy these wonderful treats. Harry’s also serves up fantastic omelets, and pretty good corn beef hash (though benjis has better). If your wondering where to go for breakfast on a bright Sunday morning, Harry’s is a great choice!
Don’t go there!. Our experience was terrible. The wait for our meal was over an hour with the place nearly empty at 7 p.m. on a Sunday evening. We were there with neighbors. Two burger orders were brought to our table cooled off and the buns soggy because they had been sitting somewhere. Two other items (quesadillas and a sandwich) were literally burned/charred and tasted that way! My meal was truly not edible. We have nothing good to report about Harry’s and won’t go back.
Boring fish tacos on shells I could buy at pick n save. Happy hour drink prices are pretty good though. The place looks nice but I think I would rather eat at a dump with good food.
Absolutely terrible. They microwave or heat lamp their food which they get pre-made and frozen. It would be overpriced even if the food was fresh, which again, none of it is. To top it off, no one there seems to care about the lack of quality, they just act like they can’t wait for their shift to be over.
Bait and Switch. So one of the specials tonight was Lobster Ravioli in a Vodka Tomato Sauce. I was served cheese ravioli with shrimp. I would have had a better meal at home dumping a jar of sauce over frozen ravioli. Silly me for thinking that the lobster would actually be IN the ravioli. Most people can tell the difference between shrimp and lobster. Are you blind? We don’t plan to go back. – EVER! And we live in Shorewood. Very disappointing.
