This place gave me a severe case of food poisoning and I recommend you not eat there because all they care about is money. I went there based on the recommendation of a local and was in the ER two hours later. After speaking with both the insurance company and the owner I am now having to hire an attorney for relief. This place is a horrible place with even worse ownership.Don’t go there I am very disappointed and hurt by the way they are handling me. Ruined my entire weekend and most of my week. I’m never going to eat portabella mushrooms again.
Stilt house is solid ok great good… comfy environment, great drinks, and quite a nice menu. No complaints about service, but if training and professionalism were elevated about 20%, this would be a fully fabulous joint. It’s pretty darned good though, and I recommend.

Not Impressed with Food – Stick to Being a Beer Bar. This place has some work to do. Its OK as a bar, very vibrant feel. If you like beer its also a great place to sit and drink beer. That being said, I was not impressed with the food or the wait to try to eat the food. I don’t mind restaurants that don’t take reservations. What is not cool is when you are told it will be 45 minutes and it turns out to be 90 minutes. I will give them this they did acknowledge the wait and gave us some free starters. Will give it another try to see if things change.
Wow. This place blew my mind . food is AMAZING and decor
Went New Years Day and was happy with the decor and service. Lots of beer and wine. My friend and I shared the Angus beef sliders with a bistro sauce which was delicious. We had a flatbread with spices, pear, honey and bleu cheese–yum! And we tried to share thw BLT with an egg on top but it was difficult to cut. Not sure how you eat it because its a big slice of french bread(?) and no top to the sandwich…? Overall, excellent! Be prepared to wait 15min or longer on Thurs, Fri and Sat just because irs so new everyones going there.
Ive been waiting for a great resturant/gasto pub to open up like this! The food is amazing! Its like tapas or small plates. There are 30 beers on tap and over 100 different craft beers. I would definitely recommend eating at the stilt house if you are in cedarburg! Best place to go!
