Terrible in every way!. First of all – they put the cheese ( a single thin slice) UNDER the sauce, so when you bite in you taste tomato paste! Horrible. And they don’t warn customers on their menu or their site that their pizza is made in such an unusual way. Their sauce is the thickest and pastiest I have ever tasted. Second – the manager is extremely rude. Classless man. Third – the place is dirty. Don’t waste your hard earned money. There are better options in the area. This was so bad my family didn’t finish it…that never happens with pizza.
Good pizza, bad attitude. Been a customer of Tomaso’s for over ten years but have been less than pleased with their service the last several a time I ordered a pizza. The phone manners are lacking, almost to a level of rudeness. This time I ordered a pizza told the time, which seemed long for a thin crust pie, arrived five minutes beyond the ready time and the pie still was not ready. When I asked why it was delayed the red head owner started to let me know that the ticket time was only five minutes off and proceeded to tell me that I should not expect it sooner. I left returned ten minutes later and picked the pie up. She was very mocking about her thanks and really wasn’t pleasant. Now the pizza is not that outstanding for me to give them my business anymore….
Don’t bother. The pizza is average on a good day and the guy working behind the bar is an absolute jerk. Too bad the one in Mequon is gone. They were better in every way.
Good pizza – tight seating. Four of us went out for dinner last Saturday evening. There was immediate seating, but we barely fit into the small booth they have for groups of our size. I mention this right away because it really did affect the quality of our evening and the dining experience. For the record, we are of normal size and we are not overweight. Each couple shared a salad, that was more than enough for two. The four of us also shared one large, thin crusted pizza with three toppings. What makes this pizza special is the quantity of toppings….i have ever had such a liberal amount of black olives, mushrooms on a pizza. The pepperoni was a little thin, but the vegetables were piled so high we couldn’t keep them on the dough as we put the slice in our mouth. And it was delicious. I would definitely come back, but probably do take out.
Never again. Absolutely the most rude people I’ve ever encountered in a service industry. Mequon location is a way better atmosphere and employees.
A favorite pizza spot!. We like the old school atmosphere here and have never had bad service. You have to order at the bar and bring your own food over, which is a little unusual, but we don’t really mind. We like both the thin and deep dish pizzas. Good lunch specials!
Rude Owner. Good pizza-bad attitude. We brought my parents there12/26/11 and the Owner/bar tender was very rudeand short with all the people. He is not doing himselfany favors- Good pizza but please cut out the attitude.
