I have been to mid town pub several times. The bar is very close to my home. They have a very good selection of craft and micro brews. I have eaten here a few times over the years. None of the food stood out to me. Other than being typical bar food (fried and greasy). I also noticed the bar staff helping in the kitchen without washing hands on numerous occasions. Otherwise a very nice place to hang out with friends for a few drinks.
Friendly atmosphere, mediocre food. I wish the quality of the food was at par with the friendly atmosphere. The sandwich menu is extensive but we didn’t find anything above mediocre after more than ten visits to this place. Worst of all is the fried walleye sandwich and/or entire walleye meal which was horribly over cooked on all three occasions we ordered it. You are much better of ordering the cod fish fry on Friday which is about the only item worth suggesting.
Love it!. The staff is always very friendly and the service is usually outstanding even on busy nights. The prices are fair and the atomosphere is nice – not too dark, the music isn’t obnoxiously loud, etc. Try the prime rib sandwich! It’s wonderful!
