Middleton Monk’s. I’ve been to the original in downtown Wisconsin Dells, which has great atmosphere and amazing burgers. The atmosphere is much different in the Middleton location, but the burgers are still delicious (though the original in the Dells has something special that puts it a notch above).The staff was friendly and the service was quick. It looks like the same Monk’s menu, which has some nice choices. The onion rings were beer battered and came with 2 sauces (the Monk’s Sauce is highly addictive). My Jalapeno burger was cooked medium/medium-rare (ordered medium-rare) and came with a huge portion of brew city beer battered fries. It turned out to be a good burger, but the straight cheeseburger was even better.The atmosphere is cozy and slightly diner-like, with a nice big bar as well. All together a nice addition to the Middleton restaurant scene.
Small portions. The food generally is very good but the portions are small for the price. Kid friendly with their meal served on a keepsake frisbee.
Fantastic food!. Husband & son had The Carolina which they said was out of this world, even the spouses got to taste and agree. We were all happy with our choices, burger and chicken quesidilla…however we ordered two mixed drinks and thought a mistake was made on the bill. Asked waitress but it was correct…$14.00!!! Will go back for food, but can’t afford to drink there…water for us next time!
Great Reuben. The regular corned beef Reuben was outstanding and it is a nice place to watch Sunday football

Don’t get the turkey burger.
We have been to Monk’s several times and had great food and service every time. The burgers and chips are among the best.
