Just Okay. I had high expectations for a place known for great burgers, but Village Green left me a little disappointed. My bacon cheeseburger was fairly ho hum. Well cooked and juicy, but lacking in flavor beyond the bacon. The roast pork sandwich was better. Tender, juicy, and delicious–something I’d go back for. Pass on the spudsters (mashed potato bites)–dry and flavorless. No problems with service and the prices are pretty cheap. Not much for atmosphere here. Grade: B-

Service non existent-server more interested chatting with her friends or just staying out of site. Seems like it could be a great place for locals but I don’t think I’d go back.

Amazing experience. We decided on the Village Green after looking around for a good burger place, and let me tell you, it was a great decision.Atmosphere: We walked in and were a little worried, the dining area was completely empty; however, Very friendly atmosphere inside the restaurant, we were greeted immediately by a very nice and friendly waiter. Waiter always showed up at the right times, refilled drinks and made great recommendations.Food: The food was absolutely amazing. The burger I had was cooked perfectly the bacon and summer sausage tasted excellent, and the appetizers were to die for. The sweet potato fries were delicious, and the cheese curds tasted very fresh.Overall: The prices were good and I will definitely be eating here again.
Village green has great burgers and good beer. Traditional Wisconsin bar food. Good value.
