The service has never been good. The food is overpriced for what you get in terms of quality and quantity. I haven’t had a good meal there for the last few years which is in fortunate since it’s right in my neighborhood.
Service was lacking. It took 10 minutes to even be greeted. First drink took 15 minutes, 2nd drink took 25 minutes to be delivered. Server was rushing us to check out, and after we paid our bill, we were completely ignored. We would have had another round of drinks (or two). Chips and salsa at a table of 5 was never refilled. I live blocks away, it will be a long time before I return.
What you would expect from a good chain. Food is tasty. Had Seafood Nachos, which were really good. They reminded me of the Seafood Nachos from Chi Chi’s. I had three different enchiladas. Seafood Ench was excellent, Chicken was too spicy and Cheese was ok. My wife had the Shrimp tacos and they were good. I liked the fact that they had some mexican beers on tap. They give you a after dinner drink – Mudslide or Baileys after. It was a nice touch. The atmosphere is good – not too quiet. The place doesn’t scream mexican – which I think is better than overdoing it.
One of the best Mexican places I’ve been to in the Green Bay area and outdoor patio in back is really awesome in the summer. I definately recommend it. The address is wrong though, it’s 623 George Street in DE PERE, not Green Bay.
