It is always packed but I can’t say I’ve waited longer then 10, maybe 15 minutes. There is a reason… the food is amazing! It’s a diner style restaurant, not much for decor… but that isn’t why I go. Don’t judge a book by its cover… you won’t regret it! Ps, try the buckwheat pancakes! AMAZING!!
Gloves. Cooks do not use gloves to cover their hands when handling ham cheese other ingredients. Had a pile of American cheese next to the grill with ends of the cheese dried up. Pancake batter spilled and not cleaned up, food on the floor, lacks care in food preperation
Might have been good???. I don’t know if the food was good or not, we arrived and put our name on the list, and was told there would be a 10 min wait. Then 2 ladies walked in off the street and were seated immediately, the hostess didn’t even look at the list of names before seating the ladies. We chose to leave rather than stay for potentially poor service since it didn’t start off very good. If the service is poor from the door, there is a greater than good chance that we will not return to this establishment. Sorry Lumber Inn you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression!
This is the best brakfast spot ever! Place is always alive with atmosphere no matter what time of day you go. Service is great, along with the food that always comes out fast an tastes fantastic. The best brakfast patatoes I’ve ever had. I come here almost every week, and will continue to do so. A++
Love it!. Lumber Inn is a fantastic place for breakfast or lunch – the Friday fish fry is worth the trip as well. Been going to the Lumber Inn for the past few years and have never had a bad experience.
The line to get a table moves very fast here. We both had omelets that were good but a little overcooked, the potatoes were crispy on top, my only complaint was the toast just didn’t taste right, but it didn’t ruin my meal. It was a good small town breakfast. The portions were medium, good prices, the service was friendly, and it was clean. I’d go back again.
Yum! Breakfast! Fast Friendly Breakfast! Great Prices!. This is best place for a fast family breakfast in Delafield. Coffee is hot, service is impeccable, food in a jiffy and it is tasty. The food is not gourmet, but quality is good and prices are even better. The outdoor seating is great. Don’t be afraid of a wait. Raul and his servers are so fast that you will get a table and your food quickly. Try the pie, I like the Strawberry Rhubarb.
