  Bland Food. I went here for the first time tonight. The chips and salsa were very good. I order the enchiladas poblanas and my daughter ordered enchiladas with red sauce. Mine did not come with rice which I thought was odd. The enchilidas were very bland. Worse I ever had. Will not go back.

  Bad food. Rude.. Bad food is one thing. But the way the management handled it was just plain rude. I will never return and highly recommend spending your hard earned dollars at a restaurant that appreciates your business.Dry and unseasoned meat in the chimichangas. The fish tacos were really fishy. Presentation was horrible. My chimi’s were served with a red sauce that was bland and simply made my chimi’s soft. Bad, bad, bad.

  Fun atmosphere. Enjoyed the spinach burrito very much. My friend had the fish taco special and said it was very good. Will visit again.

  Great lookin but other than that lame. Margarita was icy and wayyyy to sweet. The owner/manager is unwelcoming and appears angry. My food was bland and ordinary. The chips and salsa and okay but nothing special. I head into Oconomowoc or Pewaukee for better places.

  Strange.. and not good.. Well i’ve been to this restaurant about four times. hoping that it might get better.. i’ve ordered all different things but i seem to get basically the same things every time. refried beans, lettuce, and rice. i’m not pleased with the food…and felt like the waiters kept starring at my daughter and i. after we ordered the food came out to us about 2 minutes later. not being sarcastic. it taste dry and as if it was frozen and microwaved. i will not be returning. nor will my daughter.

  Wow, Awesome Place, Great Value. We went to Mazatlan last Wednesday for lunch. The service was fast and food was delicious. The drinks were cold. We sat out in the courtyard and enjoyed the warm weather. I had the Texas Fajita off the lunch menu. I couldn’t believe the serving size for the price. I wasn’t able to eat it all. The draft beer tastes so good in those frosted mugs. I will have to come in the evening, I bet it is a great party.

  I’d rather eat at Taco Bell. Visited on a Saturday night (about 6p) and it was very quiet inside (should have been our first clue). I had a Margarita and the Mazatlan Quesadilla and my SO had a Pina Colada and the Chicken Deep Fried Burritos (long way of saying – Chicken Chimichangas). When the food was at our table 5 minutes after ordering I became very skeptical. The chips & salsa are definitely bought-in as is the rest of the food (they might make the rice – I’m not sure).Our entrees came out super-heated (I have a hard time believing the food wasn’t microwaved instead of made fresh) and were drenched in a white nacho cheese sauce. The quesadilla had a stiff and perfectly formed tortilla (as if it were frozen) and the steak/vegetables on the inside were wilting and tough. The chimichangas also looked as if they had been frozen and the meat inside one of them was okay but dry. My SO gave up after the first one, I tried a piece of the second one and the chicken tasted as though it was way past its expiration.Overall, I’m glad neither of us got sick (yet) and will not be returning. If you are in the Oconomowoc/Delafield area and are looking for good mexican food check out Senor Tomas in Hartland (my favorite) or Fiesta Cancun in Oconomowoc (my second favorite) – you won’t be sorry that you skipped Mazatlan.
