Not so good. We knew we were in trouble when we saw the layout of the restaurant . The staff seemed hurried and unable to get around the tightly packed space of the dining room. The decor was average and uninspiring. The noise level was high and not as soothing as most Asian fusion restaurants are. I would have to say our server was nice and accomodating. We had two drinks: one a mojito, which was not muddled and way too sweet. It was not a well mixed drink. The other was a mango elixir which the first sip was warm and again not muddled and definitely not enough ice. We ordered gyoza steamed which were ok, but no chopsticks to eat with. We asked for some and they were very hard to eat with due to the low quality disposable brand. We then received our cooked entree 10 minutes before our sushi roll. Again the entree was fair, nothing to exciting or stand out flavorful. The sushi roll was loose and not tightly rolled. It was difficult to eat since it fell apart on contact. Again lacking flavor. Overall it was and average experience and not worth the money spent.

Overpriced and just okay …. Lived in Pewaukee for almost 2 years and finally tried Pacific Bistro … very disappointed in what I got fo $60! Got 2 sushi rolls, Hawaiin fried rice and pad Thai noodles for just north of $60 … sushi was very underwhelming and the other dishes we just okay. Not in any hurry to go back. Sushi at Wasabi in Brookfield is so much better and worth the extra minutes in the car. Chinese dishes from just about any Chinese restaurant will be at least on par, if not better than what I had at Pacific Bistro. Not to mention it took 45 minutes for a carry out order at 4:30pm on a Sunday.

My husband & I find ourselves coming back time and time again. We visited last weekend for my husband’s birthday dinner. He LOVES the sushi – I love the habachi salmon & pad prig pow chicken dish. We have never been disappointed with the food. On occasion the service is slow. We will be back soon!

Tonight was the third time coming to this restaurant and all 3 times our satisfaction was way below our expectations. The service was good the first two time, however the food portions were small and very pricey. We never had enough for leftovers and by no means do we have huge appetites. The sushi is okay, but just about any other place within a 15 mile radius is better. Tonight our ‘server’ (whom was dressed like a bartender and had been working behind the bar) was quite short with us. We ordered 3 sushi rolls and one cooked entree. Two of us were splitting the sushi and the other had the entree. His came out 15 minutes before our sushi and the lady made an excuse but asked if it was okay and rather than have it sit under a eat lamp for 15 minutes he accepted it. No apology, no offer of a drink, and nothing else was offered to make up for the mistake. He said the dish was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the $16 – which was a vert small portion again.

Have been here three times now and the service and sushi are great! We always order sashimi and the cuts are generous and fresh. Sushi chefs are very personable and creative. Highly recommend it!!
