Short and sweet:Imagine if the wrestling team hosted a fish fry. There you have it. A bunch of bros not giving a damn about any particular table, but just robotically going from one table to the next. The service was okay at best. Not bad by any means, but also very standoffish and absent-minded. Our server forgot several sides, and had to be asked a few times. The good part, however, was the fish. The beer battered perch was outstanding! The pieces were big and the batter was light and crispy and, as a good beer batter should be, very flavorful. The coleslaw was rather good, the potato pancake was oddly thick and creamy (still rather tasty, however), but the tartar and bleu cheese (for the side of sour cream and chive fries) were very bland (once we actually got these from our server, who we had to ask several times).Either way – delicious beer battered lake perch for a good price!I’ll be back for the fish, but the service, while not terrible, was almost nonexistent.
