First I have to say that I am truly amazed at the reviews of this place! It is worse than a truck stop. The food is the lowest grade possible And any monkey could boil and shredded potatoes for homemade hash browns. The food is cheap and terrible. There is no sanitation to speak of. Aside from the bright blue eyed bubbly happy waitress that they have, their service sucks! I think you’d get better reviews at QuikTrip.

I have a special place in my heart for this restaurant. Chick-A-Dee’s is probably one of my favorite places to eat in Eau Claire. I used to live in the neighborhood, and it was a short walk on a weekend morning. Old fashioned type seat-yourself diner atmosphere. Great place to meet friends for breakfast, especially when the budget is tight. Good coffee, nice wait staff, and the french fries are my favorite in all of Eau Claire. Great for breakfast – I reccommend the cinnamon french toast.
Great Little Diner. Every time we come into Chick-a-Dee’s for breakfast, this small restaurant is packed! The food is good, the portions are big and the price is cheap.
