I ordered the Walleye, it was fair. It didn’t have a flavor that leaped off the plate. I did enjoy the side of Cheesy Hash-browns. My wife had a Chicken Pasta, she was overwhelmed with the cheese topping. We tried the stuffed mushrooms, again the cheese was heavy. Not sure if the excess cheese was a Wisconsin thing.
Good good. My wife and I have come in a few times, and had good experiences every time. Steaks here are better than TGI Fridays. The ambiance is nice, love the fire at the door. It feels like walking into a great northern lodge. Appetizers are great, especially the potato skins. They also make a good long island iced tea. We did have some chicken that wasn’t the greatest one time, but that was a bit of a fluke. Gotta say I love the place.
