Poor Management, poor service, hit or miss on the food. NOT worth taking the chance.. I have been here three times now. The first time a party of 2. The service was very very slow, they were not busy yet seated everyone in the same area. The food service was un professional, The food quality was good. The second time we were there with a party of 8. again service poor, took 30 minutes to receive our salads. then the server tripped over the stand that they set all the food on by our table knocking all salads to the floor. The main course took 1 hour to be served after the salads. they kept apologizing for the long wait. the food was fine. When we asked to speak to the manager he actually argued that it did not take that long. the waiter pulled the ticket showing it was an hour and a half so then the manager just blamed the kitchen. his name is Mike he is a poor manager. The third time we went with a party of 4 the service again lacked, the shrimp cocktail were good but served without a spoon for taking the cocktail sauce (not a big thing but a party of 4 should not be double dipping the appetizer. The porterhouse was cut so thin it was a joke. when we called the manager over he said wow that is thin. He went and checked the steaks in the kitchen and the chef said thats the way they are coming in. they teak was 1/3 the size they were back when they opened up. The manager Mike said he would look into it and asked for our names and numbers. He did not discount the step and he did not follow up with a phone call as he stated he would. He is a poor manager that just brags about all his restaurants. We are done with this place until he is gone.

Filet Mignon. The steak was tender and tastey. I didn’t have to add spices. It was great, but then again I like salt. The wild rice was bland, but what do you expect from rice? The restaurant is too dark. I had to use my phone flashlight to read the menu. The staff was friendly. This restaurant is in the Holiday Inn. We almost drove right past it not knowing that.

Give it a try!. We tried it twice, both times were good. We had the stuffed shrimp, NY strip with Parmesan crust and toasted ravioli as appetizer. Too dark at first, but eyes adjust. A nice step up from olive garden for a date night.

Eau Claire Resident. Atmosphere and service are far superior to the food quality. I had a ribeye that was presented nicely, and yet was akin to something I would expect ordering a steak at Denny’s. Overpriced, to add insult to injury. Will never return.

Disappointed. I attended a private Christmas party at this restaurant. During the social hour, the servers were attentive and friendly. The food was good, but I did not get one of the sides that I was supposed to get and when I asked the server about it I was told that I got what I was supposed to get. The next day I was told by the chairs of our social committee that I should have gotten the side because it had been ordered and paid for and it was not a special or substitution order. The servers seemed to be in a rush to clear the tables and were not attentive once the dinner was served. While the servers did their job well, they were not friendly.

Herree’s Johnny’s…….. Tried the newest restaurant in town for my daughter’s B-day. This is a good place to go if you want to hide from your spouse. It is so dark I could barely read my menu! Up the lighting, please. The hostess told us it would be an hour before we could be seated. As we entered the bar, another server seated us at once? She told us that she had been working there two days. Yes, we were short of silverwear, but the food came quickly and was very good. The restaurant was packed. The decor is sophisticated and dark. Very clean and very friendly waitstaff. The problems are the darkness and young waitstaff. More experience and communication. Loved the idea of the Italian Steakhouse, just need some finetuning.
