Sammy’s Pizza, Restaurant & Pub

  • The pizza was tasty, the crust very thin. I have eaten at Sammy's in Superior (while it was open) very many times and have eaten at Sammy's in Duluth …

  • Food hound. God this place is getting bad. I still go expecting the old good Sammy's, but I think they finally broke me. Buffet 10 bucks, for what. Ha…

  • I love this place. My family has always done the pizza and get two movie passes back then. Best pizza in town. I don't eat any other pizza around here…

I love this place. My family has always done the pizza and get two movie passes back then. Best pizza in town. I don’t eat any other pizza around here that much cuz it taste like crap compared to Sammys Hope they stay here for a long time.

This place sucks the big one! I don’t know where to start! The food taste like it just came out of the dumpster! You can get better service at McDonald’s. Prices are ridiculous! The bartenders are incompetent! This place was so much better a few months ago! But not worth anybody’s time or money! Do not go!

Good pizza, but service is generally slow and disorganized. Ordered wine and three glasses were dirty…lipstick…can’t a server see that?? Ordered cold glass for beer …got warm glass. Bathroom dirty as well. Sammy’s needs to tighten up their mgt. other options for good pizza in Eau Claire.

Great Stuff. I have always liked Sammy’s downtown location and miss it. I very much like their hand tossed pizza fresh out of the original ovens. I am less likely to return to the London Road restaurant, where it has become more of a production operation less likely to require service or good food. That being said, I also like Red’s Savoy Inn in St. Paul, but they now use a preformed frozen crust, so get used to America slacking further at nearly everything that people sell. My guess is that people are inept at discerning quality food and products, so they are unable to become loyal customers for any or all of the correct reasons. That being said, I love bubbles in the crust of my thin crust pizza, and they deliver how I like my thin pizza. I generally stay away from traditional crust varieties (except for Red’s), and miss the original Rocky Roccocos slow baked (35 – 45 minutes) deep dish and slices. Rocky’s is another story of bean counters and bankers destroying a good product. Sammy’s has not fallin’ that far yet. Usually only the gubnant can destroy a steel ball with a rubber mallot, in a short yet relatively drawn out period of time. Let’s hope Sammy’s maintains the good taste for a bit longer than some others have.

Sammy’s is a great EC pizza location… Excellent thin crust, fun little hole in the wall location on London Rd. although to be honest it has fallen on my fav list bc of increasing prices, hit or miss quality, and lackluster service from cashiers to cooks. With that said, still recommend to try at least once! Be adventurous and go for a speciality pizza!!

Sammy’s is #1!!!. I’ve had pizza in Chicago and everywhere else. Sammy’s is the best F%&*in’ pizza anywhere, hands down!

Hostess with the mostess. Kim at Sammy’s Pizza, is the most wonderful hostess. I ate at Sammy’s Pizza weekly for over a year and she always was friendly and the food was great too.
