I love this place. My family has always done the pizza and get two movie passes back then. Best pizza in town. I don't eat any other pizza around here…

The pizza was tasty, the crust very thin. I have eaten at Sammy’s in Superior (while it was open) very many times and have eaten at Sammy’s in Duluth many times. This Sammy’s does not quite meet those standards but it did in a pinch. The sauce is similar but not quite as flavorful. The sausage are tasty but are half the size of other Sammy’s. I would stop again (as I am just traveling through) but maybe wait til I hit Duluth to get the real deal.
Food hound. God this place is getting bad. I still go expecting the old good Sammy’s, but I think they finally broke me. Buffet 10 bucks, for what. Half an old pepperoni, a newer sausage, and a dried out old cheese that must have been there for an hour. No new pizza’s the whole time I was there. The marinara sauce was like red water with no taste. The owner was there, and when I complained he got up and walked into the kitchen. If you want Sammy’s, wait until you go to the cities and go to Sammy Perella’s. It’s the same chain, and they still have clean restaurants with a good product. We’ve all seen with Mike’s Smokehouse what happens when you raise the prices and lower the quality. So long Sammy’s
