Delicious and Healthy!!. I have been eating at Fit Fresh Cuisine both on their meal plan and off the menu for over a year now. If you have not stopped here yetyou need to! Fit Fresh is one of the best gems in the Madison area; not only for people who like to eat healthfully but for anyone who loves delicious food!! There are so many things to appreciate here… The food is purchased locally whenever possible, from local farmers CSA programs, which is near and dear to my own heart. This in and of itself was incredible to me, given the variety of meals Ive had there. I did the meal plan over the last year for around seven months. I think I could count on one hand the number of times there were repeat meals. The menu is constantly evolving depending on the season and whatever new magic Matti and crew are dreaming up in the kitchen!! On that note, the food here is simply amazingwho knew that healthy food could be so delicious?!?! Ive yet to have anything there that I dont like. Its impossible to nail down just one, as everything here is incredible, but to name a few favorites… The breakfast sandwiches are wonderful (my fav is the Texan), the smoothies are just the right after work out treat (not too heavy, guilt free! Try the Popeye!), the salads, with their home made dressings, are absolutely mouth watering (make sure to try the Caesar dressing), and the Greek sliders…well, theyre simply to die for!! In doing the meal plan you are able to experience items that arent generally on the regular menu, again all mouth-watering delicious. In fact, on pick up days I could hardly wait to get home to open up everything and see what I would be eating for the next couple dayslike opening presents on Christmas morning!! 🙂 The location is also another big plusits located right inside the gymyou cant go wrong with that. My food was always fresh and ready to pick up after working outa huge bonus to not have to go home and worry about cooking, and even biggerno grocery shopping!! The ease of having Fit Fresh right there made healthful eating a no-brainer. And, if I ever did have questions, the staff there of dieticians, chefs, and staff are incredibly knowledgeableand super friendly, too!! Like I said, if you havent stopped at Fit Fresh yet, do ityou wont be disappointed!!
Healthy, Balanced, Convenient & Tasty. I have been using Fit Fresh Cuisine’s meal plan for nearly a year and have been nothing but HAPPY! I am a full time teacher and a personal trainer so I am very busy but also extremely concerned with eating natural whole foods. The food is purchased locally and organic whenever possible and this too is very important to me. During the past year they also reduced their cost based on the cost of their locally purchased foods being reduced. Instead of making a greater profit for themselves they passed it onto their customers. Thank You!!I have been a vegetarian for nearly 30 years so I am familiar with healthy eating however, I had gotten into a rut of eating many of the same meals over and over. I began using the meal plan to take in more calories via a larger variety of healthy and whole foods. I am also very aware of maintaining the proper balance of macro nutrients (i.e., protein, complex carbs, fat) and the meal plans make this much easier on a daily basis. Because I’ve been using the meal plan for so long I am still amazed at the variety of foods each week. I have my favorites, but I would have to say I find none of them inedible. I sometimes supplement my meals with additional protein due to my high activity level. In doing so, I have purchased their smoothies and I HIGHLY recommend them! They are not only very tasty but they are satisfying, healthy and have a significant amount of protein. Each smoothie flavor has the specific macros posted so you know exactly how many grams of protein, carbs and fat each contains and can choose accordingly. I find this very valuable! I am not a member of Hybrid fitness but they have always treated me with respect as a valued customer. Those who work behind the counter are always friendly, positive and helpful. When I first began the meal plan my only glitch was that I was concerned with the styrofoam containers but I am very pleased they are moving towards using more recyclable food containers. Seriously, I have always said that if I won the lottery the first thing I would do is hire a healthy chef….with Fit Fresh Cuisine I didn’t have to wait to win the lottery to make this happen!!

It’s hard to believe it’s healthy…I’ve said that so many times!What it is:Healthy and fresh made food, with something for everyone; smoothies, salads, sandwiches, pizza, cookies and bars. *I have my favorites – see below for my recommendations* Produce is purchased locally through their participation in a CSA; I like that they buy local, just like I do. The sauces and dressings, the salsas and greens…now I wish I had the curry chicken sandwich to munch on while sitting here writing this! Caesar dressing is out of this world, the mango salsa, also a favorite!What it is NOT:Prefabbed, shelf-stable, just add water and microwave meals that you see on TV. Have you ever eaten that stuff? (Those people are getting paid to say it tastes great and not like cardboard, I just know it!) It is also not the freshly frozen type that you order on the Internet and put it together yourself later, been there done that also.What you should know/remember:This is food with a conscience. While national chains are bragging about their low fat or low carb menu, they are still selling you a plate with more than a days worth of sodium or sugar. Fit Fresh is not going to be the right answer for everyone all the time, but it is certainly a great alternative. FF gives you a chance to see what a balanced breakfast, lunch or dinner looks like, so you can better teach yourself, when you want to stay in and cook. My Favorites:Smoothie – Popeye or The HodgsonBreakfast Sandwich – TexanFlatbread & Salad – Soprano w/CaesarSalad: Barley Chicken SaladSandwich – Meatball or Philly, honorable mention – curry chicken Dinner – Large Flatbread of Spicy Black Bean w/family Caesar (best special yet)Dessert – Sucker for those chocolate chip cookies, I used to buy 2 everyday :)You don’t need to be a member of Hybrid Fitness to eat at Fit Fresh Cuisine or to participate in any meal plan. If you have a fitness or weight loss goal, the help is there and the plan is great. If your goal is to make eating healthy at home easier and learn what portions should look like, again, I say give it a shot. When all the adding points and calorie counting math has got you down, this is where you should turn.
The food was ridiculously bland. Healthy food can have flavor too! The customer service was horrible, made it uncomfortable for a person that was going there for the first time to order. The menu online is not the same as what is in store. Def won’t be going here again, which is too bad because I was really excited to have a fresh, organic restaurant by my house!
