Not sure how this place supposedly rates as 4.6/5.Its not near that kind of quality, IMO.We started out w/the egg rolls, which were smallish. They were decent quality, but bland. They needed more meat, or seasoning, or both. The dipping sauce served w/them was uninteresting. Then we moved onto another appetizer, the pork Larb. Larb is supposed to be pounded rice and seasoned ground meat mixed together w/lime and spices, often served in lettuce wrap leaves. This was seasoned ground meat and onions, w/sticky rice served…on the side. Thats it. Really, thats it? Yup.Will I order it again? Nope.Last was the duck curry. It ended up being a mishmash of ingredients whose flavors didnt compliment eachother very well. And the duck was served in a couple of large chunks, instead of cut up into bite sized pieces throughout the dish. Seemed like a lazy preparation to me.For 2 appetizers and 1 entree, it came to about $29 w/tax.Not outrageous, but not cheap, either. And not particularly good.
Once again a Thai restaurant review. But this time it was a take out review (we have been to this place few times earlier to writing this review) . And as a person who eats a lot of Thai food this place has a certain home made quality to it. Food – We ordered House special fried rice and Pad Thai. And it was a takeout order. Their taste though not authentic was good and the spice level as requested was 4 . The House fried rice was good. But will strongly suggest their Curry fried rice. Ambience – (Depending on the earlier time we visited) This place is small but clean. Not crowded. Service – They are prompt and friendly. Pocket friendly too.
