Gillie’s Special Sundaes are the Best!. We have been going here during every trip to Oshkosh since I was a kid (1960’s), and I have never had anything other than the Gillie’s Special Sundae – vanilla frozen custard, hot fudge, salted pecans, and bananas. So good!

CAN’T MISS THIS!!. If you’re in Fond du Lac, you’re taste buds can’t afford to miss Gilles! It is a true classic drive in with a simple menu, but don’t let the simplicity fool you. You’ll get a great burger, perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries, homemade, creamy custard and friendly waitresses that known you’re ready to order when you turn your headlights on!
It’s good, solid American food. The Gille burger is great (if you’re a sloppy joe fan) the sundaes are amazing, the fries great, the atmosphere wonderful. It’s a good place to hit if you don’t have other ideas or you’re in the mood for some outdoor, in the car service. Be aware that it’s seasonal though, so don’t try stopping out there from November to March
