We all really enjoyed our meal. The lobster bisque was super. I had steamed muscles, my spouse the tenderloin crispini. Wine list was good and bottles were 50% off on Wed nights. Nice atmosphere and really good food.

Excellent dinner. The modern Caesar salad and lobster bisque were both done to perfection. Main courses included a 6oz prime rib with potato and bearnaise was delicious. There were oysters available so we had a dozen on those too. Clearly the chef has a vision and judging by the past pictures on this site, he is constantly redefining his craft. Special mention to our server Ross who took the time to review the menu and made us comfortable with our selections. For dessert, the lemon butter cake was amazing to share. We try to visit something different every time we come to Green Bay but we would be fools not to come here again. Am sorry I did not have room to try the poutine dish. Next time!

Wonderful!. I wanted to take my boyfriend somewhere with a more intimate appeal. As he loves appetizers, I also wanted someplace that had a variety of choices without needing to choose any of the same ol’ frozen, breaded, cheese/meat/veggie concoctions from a bag. As I’m prudent with my pennies, Thursday night was the night of choice and we headed for Chefusion. After we entered the door, there was a gentleman there who appeared to be a chef. He warmly greeted us, asked if we had experienced Chefusion before, and then explained the variances between the formal dining (downstairs) and the lounge (upstairs). We already had our hearts and appetites set for the dining upstairs. The upstairs is dark yet elegant; it offered the intimacy I desired even thought the place soon was filled to brim. Thankfully, we arrived prior to the rush and found a comfortable seat at the bar. Our server, Kyle, was very accommodating and his attention to us, even though they were quite busy, was excellent. For drinks, my boyfriend started out with a martini but soon discovered their Moscow Mule. We have since been recreating them at home, although without the copper mug. I started out with a Brandy Old-Fashioned; as all good restaurants do (and quite frankly, all places should), they muddled the Old-Fashioned. But the nice touch was the slice of blood orange in the bottom. I also went to the Moscow Mule after my Old-Fashioned, since I had a sip of his and was hooked! The food was excellent! We ordered the mussels; they were perfectly cooked and flavorful, although I could have used a little more pesto as its flavor was muted. Next was the Filet on Crostini. It was AMAZING! And so much more than I expected. It was a thick cut filet, and what crostini could stand up to such a cut than a piece of Texas toast. The filet had a hint of horseradish and was nicely seared with a warm center, as requested. It was the favorite dish for both of us. Next came the lobster bisque which was dressed with crme fraiche (I believe it was crme fraiche at least), and micro-greens. I have no other lobster bisque to compare, as this was my first, but I don’t plan on it being my last. We had ordered two more dishes at the same time as the bisque, requesting them to be served 5 minutes after the previous dish. So, as we were becoming quite full, we rationed ourselves to allow room to at least sample the next two dishes: the shrimp scampi and the pork involtini. The shrimp scampi was served over angel hair pasta with melted cheese and grilled lemon; my boyfriend believed there to be too much oil; I would also have to agree and I would also order without the cheese (I know – gasp! – a Wisconsiner saying no to cheese), but it just didn’t seem right to have cheese on the dish. The grilled lemon was a wonderful touch, however. It added a great flavor profile to the dish. The pork involtini was more heavy on the Andouille sausage than anticipated, but was very good. We actually cut-up the leftovers at home and pan fried it with potatoes and more aromatics for our breakfast that weekend. : )The food was spectacular; the drinks were wonderful; and Kyle’s service was exemplary. We will be back.

Very cool spot. I can’t believe it took us 3 years of living in Green Bay to give this place a try, wish we would have much sooner. We opted to sit at the bar upstairs in the lounge and it was a perfect atmosphere. Dimly lit, live acoustic guitar in the background, and awesome drink and food. Great place to take your significant other to relax. The service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. This is one our favorite spots in Green Bay now and can’t wait to go back!

Happy Hour all night long on Thursdays. The intersection of Dousman and Broadway seems to be at least one of the culinary epicenters in Green Bay. After walking up and down Broadway and considering our dinner options we settled on Chefusion, after they advised us that every Thursday evening upstairs in the lounge is Happy Hour, with almost all food items $2 or $3 off regular prices, plus discounts on many beer and wine choices. We chose the sangria pitcher (on special), the fries, the crab cake, the lemon risotto with spring veggies, and the Mac n Bacon n Cheese. They were all good. The crab cake was huge, and one of the better restaurant versions I have had outside of the Delmarva. The Mac n Bacon n Cheese was rich, with the bacon almost stealing the show. We finished with three flavors of sorbet. The pineapple with basil sounds odd, but it is really amazing. The atmosphere is dark and interesting. This is a great place to people watch. Service was friendly and prices (because of Happy Hour) great. Pricier options are available downstairs.Food: AMenu Sophistication: A-Service: A-Atmosphere: AValue: A

Overall very nice, but….. …the shrimp in my wife’s pasta had a strange taste to them, probably due to the fact they were farm raised, plus her dish overall was over cooked. My filet on crostini was quite tasty and our friends dinners were well received. Another small complaint was that the soup of the day was supposed to be a chicken/corn chowder and while it had a very nice flavor it seemed to have a tomato/ beef base with no chicken and WAY too many croutons. Service was top-notch.

Went there on Thursday April 28,2011. I had bread services which I highly recommend. The aged balsamic mixed with olive oil, hummas, and tapande that came with the bread was excellent. I also really injoy their take on Mac n cheese. Yum!
