Not a good experience. Do not know if it was just a bad day there. Our server was not good about groupons – and I believe he treated us like second class citizens.
Below average. Haven’t been to this restaurant since it changed hands. My girlfriend and I were disappointed. I ordered pizza which was greasy and bland. My girlfriend has the Fettuccine Alfredo which also was bland. That said we will not be going back.
Excellent Selection, Food & Service. I usually order the Chicken Piccata, but last night I tried the Chicken Marsala. They chicken is always so tender, the veggies and other ingredients are very fresh and good. The steaks, veal and seafood are also really good. There is a great wine selection, as well. I’ve always received great service, and last night, they even turned the fireplace on for me. It’s warm and cozy and I would send everyone there.
Wish I could even comment on the food, but we didn’t even make it past the host desk. We arrived with a few other couples waiting in front of us. Who all walked out after no one came to the desk to seat us after 10minutes. I could see about 3 waitresses in the back standing an chatting the whole time we were there as the line got longer and longer, and still no one came to the desk to seat us or even give us a wait time. After about 20, someone finally came to the desk. He helped someone behind us who had a reservation first, so we had enough and left. Such poor costumer service, we will not be back
Classic Italian. Lunch at Casa Di Giorgio on 9/10 was a great experience from start to finish. The menu choices from sandwiches , pizza, pasta, and classic Italian fare were hard to choose from. Finally choosing the Sicilian Pork Tenderloin for myself, and Veal Parmagiana for my wife our lunch began with two great soups. Italian vegatable was well seasoned and hearty. My roasted red pepper with risotto had to be one of the best soups I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. The entrees soon followed and were spot on. Sides of pasta ( red sauce or garlic butter) came with the entrees. I chose the garlic butter version and have to say it was the first time ever I did’nt have to salt my pasta…it was great! Warm crusty bread also came with the meals. Service was proffesional and well paced even with a almost full dinning room. Give this place a try….. they’ll knock your socks off!!
Worst experience I have had in a loooooooooong time.. Had the Friday fish fry for lunch–$12.95. The chef should have been embarrassed to send that plate out of the kitchen. It was three pieces of lake perch that were the size of curled up sardines and tasted like them, too. They looked more like very small potato wedges. My luncheon companion said I should have had something Italian. I did–the pasta side with red sauce. It was tasteless. The waitress took our order and had to change parts of it three times before it agreed with what the kitchen was preparing. I have had MUCH better perch at other places for a whole lot less. This meal would not have been worth it at any price, and I will never return.
Fantastic again. This is a great place. Once again the food, atmosphere and waitress was wonderful. I’ve been there many times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant.
