Pretty average all around. About what I expected. Stopped in this place with a coworker on our way to the UP of Michigan. It looked like it had pretty good possibilities and it was a nice, relaxed interior. The food claimed it was prepared by a Charcoal Grill, which didn’t really tickle my fancy. In fact, I really just wanted to see if it was going to be worth it or not. Our very courteous waitress brought out some pretty tasty baked-in-house bread to start us out with. Next I ordered a burger for my entree. The secret of the best burgers in the biz are the quality of meat used and a hot griddle to maximize the Mailaird effect (that awesome mahogany crust that appears on the outside of beef when heat is applied). My Reuben Burger came out with really nothing of that effect as I guessed it wouldn’t due to the nature of a charcoal grill cooking it. I couldn’t really taste the charcoal’ed flavor and I the pastrami was just okay. See my picture and you’ll notice there isn’t much. But overall, it was just pretty okay.My friend, who was going for more of the Atkins diet approach , found that the chicken and vegetables did the trick for him. Overall, the meal was pretty inexpensive, which suited me just fine. I would consider coming back to see what else they have to offer if I ever come back this way.

Good service, Food is hit or miss.. I always have good service when I go here but the food is really inconsistent. Unfortunately the last several times I went it was pretty awful so I’ve stopped going. Hopefully they will hire some new cooks and get everything back up to par.

Quality and taste always depends on the cooks. Had some good and terrible experiences with the food, but service has always been good

At brunch…essentially paid $10 for bagel, 2cups of yogurt, one semi warm pancake and some scrambled eggs. At the very end of the meal i finally got my water and no sign of the soda i ordered. everything was continually out and not stocked. not a place to get a decent breakfast. try mcdonalds at least there you will get your entire order, warm and drinks.
