Don’t waste your money. Food was horrible. I ordered a steak medium rare and they gave me burnt, not well done but literally burnt. My wife had a seafood dish and they gave her canned mini shrimp and what tasted like a packaged (just add water) sauce over her fish. The place also smells like they still smoke inside and the decorations are very outdated and looks like they are living in the past when they were probably good and profitable. Waitress was very nice which was the only upside of the restaurant.
Salty and gross. I wish I could get back the time and money I spent at Ghost Town. I should have turned and ran once I opened the door and saw the charlie foxtrot that is the bar – no flow, no room, no moving around at all, at least not on a Friday night. My husband and I waited about ten minutes for a table, excited about the good reviews we had read and trying to ignore the mad-dog stares of drinkers who wanted our spot. The staff was very friendly and quick, considering how busy it was. That’s the only nice thing I can saw about this place. I ordered the steak sandwich, expecting to have a nice, thick, juicy prime sirloin – what I got was some kind of weird beef curtain that tasted like it had been stomped on by someone with salty shoes. It was about a quarter of an inch thick, and dry as a bone. My husband got the salmon oscar – the shrimp were salad shrimp (read: tiny), and the salmon was also dry and salty and overcooked. Even the beer tasted flat – like the keg needs changing but no one cares. The dining room feels like a basement, complete with wood paneling. I guess that makes it authentic or something, or old-fashioned? I don’t know – I couldn’t hardly move. We rushed to the grocery store to find something, anything to get the taste out of our mouth – I’ve eaten better food from gas stations. Never again.
