Sat at the bar and watched the tender collect the excessive foam coming out of the tap… If you aren’t going to chill your beer properly that is called ‘waste’. Reclaiming of the foam is not acceptable unless you’re feeding pigs with it.

I just left Milwaukee Ale House (Grafton). The last two times was horrible. On the last visit we were told it would be a twenty minute wait. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes. Ok, maybe they were busy.Today, we were the first customers! No waiting. Good start. We ordered out food, and about twenty-five minutes the food arrived. I are my fries, the saw that my Ale House cheeseburger was bleeding. The bun was soaked with blood on one side. The bottom of the bun was red as well. I sent it back, and even though they offered to replace it, I refused. I stated that I don’t think they know how to make a burger, and I wasn’t about to receive food that was tampered with. The manager offered to take care of the complete bill. I agreed, and my family and I left.I will never go back. It’s a shame, because when they’re good it’s great. I cannot excuse a raw burger from a place that has burgers on about one-third of the menu.

Best to stick with common pub food. Ordered a special ravioli (pasta stuffed with squash) entree for lunch.Sample size portion which was not even that taste.Hungry an hour latter.Best for burgers, simple sandwiches and alike.Make matters worse, I submitted an on-line comment through their website and never received a reply.

I’ve been here a few times and have been impressed with the food. The service at times is a bit lacklustre but the food has made up for it. The pot roast is delectable and as is the sesame crusted tuna. Will be back more in the future.

Poor (no) service. After being seated and waiting for 15 minutes without being acknowledged, we decided it was best to leave. On our way out no one even noticed or seemed to care. They were too busy looking at their cell phones.

What happened????. Just ate at the Ale House in Grafton for the first time since new ownership. Horrible, awful, nasty. I used to love the food here….now I get sweet potato fries, with sugar and cinnamon (or nutmeg) on them. What the hell?? My friend had the salmon salad that was probably the cheapest cut of salmon ever available to mankind. I love the beer, but the new owners have gone completely out of control with the new menu. Will not be back except for beer…..maybe.
