Nice Place For A Good Time. Paid our first visit to Mackinaw’s on a recent visit to the Green Bay area. We made reservations but were somewhat concerned when we saw the huge Friday night crowd, but were shown directly to our table. Since moving out of the area about ten years ago, we usually get perch when in the area, and Mackinaw’s had some of the best we’ve tried in recent years. We received a generous portion, nicely breaded, served hot and crisp, with a tangy tartar sauce. Hubby’s fries were great, as were my fresh made chips. The only downside was the coleslaw; the dishes were extremely hot, and caused the colelsaw dressing to breakdown.A friend ordered the tenderloin and said it was cooked to perfection. Mackinaw’s will definitely be on the list for a return visit the next time we are in town.
We always have fun at Mackinaw’s.. When we are looking for a fun place to go to with family or visitors, we go to Mackinaws. We stop by on the way to the movies for a drink and a fish sandwich or chicken wrap. We also really like the chicken dumpling soup. There’s always acoustic music on Saturday night. We especially like the Sunday brunch. Pat and his son are owners and they are always there to greet you and make you feel special. They work hard to make you happy. The service is friendly and it is always packed on a weekend evening with friends and neighbors. Memorable place to take visitors who come to visit historic Lambeau Field.
My family’s favorite restaurant! Great kids menu options plus a game room. I highly recommend the Perch, you won’t be disappointed!
Love this place!. My husband and I find it perfect for date nights! It is outstanding food at an affordable price with friendly service. The menu has a lot of choices which is also nice.
Kind of a creepy place. I wasn’t comfortable eating the below average food surrounded by bad taxidermy. I left early because the service was as bad as the food
Poor service. It’s not hard to serve burgers, but this place made it seem like mission impossible. It took over 40 minutes to get our meals. Waiter said something got mixed up in the kitchen. Not cheap, either.
