Good food, no frills. Came here on the recommendation of a local. Knew it was popular by the packed parking lot at 7:00. Some of the best fish I have ever eaten. They serve without silverware. You eat with your fingers. Served with onion slice on rye. Noisy and hard to talk over bar crowd. Quick friendly service. GB is home to some of Wisconsin’s friendliest people.
Best place for fish – especially perch. They know how to bread the fish without it being too meally or taking over. Catfish, blue gill, walleye and smelt (in season).
