All of their pastas are amazing, especially the Tomato Basil and the Mediterranean. Their steaks are also wonderful. Perfect amount of spice – flavorful without covering up the taste of the steak. Great atmosphere and service. Sunday is all day happy hour-great drink specials.
Service was very good. Since I was traveling solo, I sat at the bar and was very well taken care of. A dozen selections of beer with a good variety of craft brews.I decided on the Pork Chops, Parmesan Crusted as my entree. Turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Three good sized chops cooked just right. Overall, this was a perfect meal while traveling. Only issue was my salad which was closer to room temperature than chilled. Otherwise, everything else was very good and my Bartender/Server was on her game.Winner!
Having heard a few so-so reviews and comments about this place in the two years since it opened, I was somewhat apprehensive about our first visit there tonight. But, the place was excellent. Had the special: a New York strip, charcoal grilled with shrimp. Everything about the meal was terrific. Great beer and wine selection and our service was top-notch (thanks Derek sp?). Of course, being in the old post office gives it a special and unique atmosphere. We will be regulars…another great Hudson place downtown!
