Very good German food. Bring a big appetite as the portions are huge. Would recommend this place to anyone. Now I have to talk the owner into moving the place to Chattanooga.
Enjoyed the Sweinshaxe, we are attracted by the German beers and wines, but my husband says to mention the Zigeunerschnitzel. Place is filled on a Wednesday and we have come often. Prosit!!!
Very very good! Homemade bread and soup my favorite!
Good food and service!. I dont have much to compare their food to because I’m not really familiar with German food, however my husband has traveled all over the world and some of his favorite food is German. We’ve tried a ton of food on their menu and haven’t been disappointed. The service is always great, whether its just my husband and I at the bar or us and our 3 kids!
VERY GOOD FOOD. If you have bad knees be prepared to struggle with the stairs as this restaurant is downstairs. However, it’s worth the effort. Food is well prepared with generous portions. It seems a little expensive when you look at the menu but when your food arrives you will see why it seems pricey. You WILL need a carry out box. A little dark atmosphere but very cozy.
The best German food I’ve ever had….. The service is top notch too. Well worth every penny:) I would go out of my way to stop back.
Awesome. I’ve been here twice now and both times the food has been amazing. The sausages are made locally in town, sauerkraut is mild but tasty, and the uncommon variety of German beer on tap is fun as well. Be sure to call for a reservation during dinner if you have a party of more than 4. I regret living in town for 5 years before trying this place!
