Best German food in West-central Wisconsin. This is the place to get a feel of Germany. Super easy to find. Cool that’s it’s in the basement of an old opera house. Had to wait awhile to get in, two bus loads of people had stopped in. Guess that is a good problem to have. Was clean with traditional German decor. The waitstaff really know their stuff. Answered every question we had. Good German beer. Good German food. Enough said!
Some of the best German fare I’ve had in some time! Everything is made from scratch, the portions are more than ample portions, and for a reasonable price, at least, by my standards. 25 bucks a head for apps, mains, sides, alcohol, and dessert is a pretty good value by my estimation.
