I got three chicken tacos and a strawberry margarita and those were the most delicious, moist tacos I’ve ever eaten. The salsa was pretty delicious, too.
Bland, bland and bad. Bad service, bland food, way too salty and I like salt. Salsa was like stewed tomatoes, no flavor. Asked for hot. Got a bowl of chili powder in vinegar, all heat, no flavor. Do yourself a favor, skip this place.
Awesome. One of the best restaurants in the Janesville area. Sorry, but have to disagree with review that says El Jardin is better. (Have been there a few times too, but Cozumel is far superior. Was so disappointed last time won’t return to El Jardin.) We’ve been to Cozumel many times and have never been disappointed. the service is fast and attentive, the drinks are strong and the food is awesome.
Best Mexican food in town by far. We have loved this restaurant for years. The meal we had this month was the best yet. Keep it up. Delicious and worth the wait for a table on a busy night.
Thumbs down. I’ll start with the positives. Nice atmosphere, good shrimp fajita quesadilla, very flavorful shrimp. Resonably priced.Now the negatives. Service was extremely slow. Guacamole was tasteless except for SALT. Sent it back, stirred in some salsa, and it was still not good. Almost all the chips were broken into little pieces. Watery drinks and couldn’t even get a glass of ice water. And there were flies bothering us through our entire meal which was 2 hours!I wouldn’t bother going here again, El Jardin is much better
Authentic!. Good food, good beer and good service. This is not Tex-Mex/midwest fare – it’s authentic Mexican and very, very tasty. Don’t let the strip mall environment keep you from entering this place – the inside decor is nice and welcoming.
