Let me start with the positive our waitress was attentive and nice. Our food was fast and hot but we were 1 of only 3 tables that night. So I guess that should be expected because they were not busy. The hot and sour soup was thick and gelatinous I could have eaten it with a fork, not the texture I was expecting for a soup. It had a metallic taste yuck! My meal had tender beef and fresh vegetables but other than that the flavor was lacking. I won’t be back

Really cool, old school Chinese restaurant! It’s on the 2nd floor of an old building with a steep flight of stairs, so not a good choice for folks that can’t climb stairs. Other than that, once inside the treat begins. Food is delicious and piping hot. Service is attentive, decent bar with you favorite beverage. Background music is authentic old Chinese music. Makes for an enjoyable meal at a reasonable price. As far as Chinese restaurants go, this one is an A+!

Special Place. This place is something else. It’s like taking a time warp to a 1970 Chinese Restaurant. It’s kept up well, though! The food and service were great for my visit, and left me wishing I had tried it sooner. I’ll certainly be going back.

High price, low quality. This is by far the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Wonton soup had a watery, cloudy broth and tough noodles. LoMein was a fettucini noodle, too many bean sprouts, overcooked shrimp and a very bland (except for all the salt) viscous sauce. Shouldn’t veg fried rice have vegetables?

Family Tradition. I LOVE their egg rolls. They have an amazing, mysterious flavor (well, not so mysterious now that I know the secret ingredient), and I usually order an extra one for the drive home when I get carryout. My family has been going to this restaurant since my grandparents were dating over 70 years ago. I lost a tooth here when I was 8 (not the food’s fault – it was already loose). I remember crawling under the tables to get out of the round booths. The food is well prepared and in generous portions, and the prices are very reasonable. The service is always outstanding. I drink a lot of water, and they use little 8 ounce glasses. I go through four or five at a meal, and I’ve never had to ask for a refill. This place has not changed in the forty years I’ve been going here. On the down side, the place has LITERALLY not changed in at least forty years, probably twice that. It’s dark, the steep staircase (the only entrance) is covered in faded, worn carpeting, and the wallpaper in the stairway entrance is peeling and has a few bits of graffiti. It isn’t pretty, but they do have very tasty food.

Very good food. The Cozy Inn has very good food, but they could update their menu as it has stayed the same for years. The steep walk up to the restaurant prohibits anyone with a physical problem from dining here. Seem to do a lot of carry out business. Drinks are over priced and not all that good as it typical of many Chinese restaurants.
