The staff is kind of rude, probably the rudest waitstaff I’ve encountered. Also, the food isn’t great, covered in cheese and bland sauce. Its cheap, but I wouldn’t go again. There are better Mexican restaurants in town.
Best Mexican Food in Janesville. Hacienda Real is the best place to eat Mexican food in Janesville. They are all pretty good but Hacienda Real is a step above the rest. The salsa and guacamole are always excellent which is a big deal and the food is always served quickly, is hot and tastes delicious. The seafood enchiladas are especially good along with the chimichangas and enchiladas just to name a few (we have tried pretty much everything) We have never had a bad meal there. It is our family’s favorite place to go (kids included). The staff is always very courteous and eager to get whatever we want. We are so glad to have this restaurant in Janesville and whenever someone visits us we take them there. One other note is the restaurant is very clean.

Authentic taste. I went very simple and ordered the regular tacos. Ground beef, with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Then beef was seasoned perfect and texture was great. The best part was the hard shells were super crispy and had a different texture than most. Also the salsa here is good!
Fast and Delicious. I have been here twice and have been very happy both times! They are very fast with the refills on drinks and chips and very friendly. I ordered the chimichangas both times, one beef and one chicken. The chicken was delicious! The beef was good too, but a little sweeter than what I usually like. The rice and beans on the side are great too. The beans have a little extra spice to them, which is a nice change from the fairly bland beans you get in so many other authentic mexican spots.
