I stop at this restaurant once every 5 weeks since I am from out of state. Always fabulous food and solid service. Great value and consistently great food quality! I always look forward to a visit to the Milwaukee Grill! You won’t be disappointed.
I had not been to the Milwaukee Grill for a while and recently tried them on a Friday night as I was in the mood for some old school Wisconsin fish fry. I checked the menu and they indeed had the fish fry, but I actually opted for their fresh lake trout which was pan fried with almonds. Served with fresh vegetable ( fresh Brussels sprouts this nite) and a potato choice ( I like potato pancakes with applesauce). The meal was fantastic and was $13 bucks. Perhaps one of the best pieces of trout I’ve had. Crowd was large, about a 15-20 minute wait. It sure was worth the wait.
Great atmosphere. We have gone several times and never been disappointed with the food. Service has been great and snacking on the best popcorn in town doesn’t hurt either! There’s a good variety on the bar menu for everyone. It is very hard to get in on a Friday after 5 without a wait and not much room to wait in. No reservations Friday and Saturdays.
Great food, great service. We have been here twice for lunch and only have great things to say about the food and the service. The waitress and all of the staff were friendly there at every beck and call. We had bloody Marys, dinner salads and split the Caribbean chicken sandwich. The drinks were great, salads very fresh and the sandwich was excellent. We loved the fresh jalapenos on it. The sandwich is a homerun in our opinion. The onion straws are excellent as well. This is probably our favorite lunch spot in Janesville! Any of the negative reviews on here about the Milwaukee Grill couldn’t be farther from the truth. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
Had the perch and potato pancake and both were great. Would definitely be back to try some other homemade gems.
Very Poor service. Terrible service. I went here on my birthday and after being seated, we never recieved any service. We sat and waited for 20 minutes and watched 3 other groups be seated and served while we still recieved no service. Very poor service. Also, after talking with the manager after they were going to send a gift card to apologize, which was never sent. Don’t go here. Rude staff.
