Name and owner change. In July of this year, this restaurant changed ownership and its name. Many of the same wait staff continue to work here and many of the menu items remain the same. I have eaten here a zillion times and have always found the food quite good and reasonably priced. I was not sure what to expect with these changes, but all four of us enjoyed our breakfast/lunch today. The biggest change is to the exterior of the building. What used to be a drab beige building is now a bright yellow one. I can’t remember the new name – Chick something and will update this review when I find out the name. This continues to be diner type food, with a good breakfast and lunch. The soups are usually homemade and good. Nothing fabulous here, nothing gourmet. Just pretty good food for a pretty good price with pretty good service.

Best little Restaurant in Janesville. We had a delicious lunch with home made soup and perfect broasted chicken and a whole catfish. Everything about the meal was great from the actual homemade soups (3 choices) to the what tasted like homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. The service was friendly with attention to detail and the food terrific. Try it you will like it.
