Loved Ashling on the Lough..if you can find it :). We absolutely loved Ashling on the Lough. The location is tucked away, not really visible with no street sign of the restaurant. We found out from google, places to eat (4 stars and up) in Kenosha. The Food was great, my burger was second to Ron’s Place. Those of you who live in Kenosha know that is high praise. We did go on a weekday and it wasn’t busy. The menu isn’t run of the mill, they actually pursued authentic Irish food with lots of Irish beers on tap. The ambiance was mid-upper class, very nice but people dress casually. Also the view of the marina and optional outside dining. The prices are slightly high but you get what you pay for in this instance. Definitely a great place to take a date or family. Please don’t compare this place to The Tilted Kilt, that’s insulting. Also a friend said the food was horrible. I’m glad I never take anyone’s word at face value. We Loved it and it’s hard to argue 30+ people rating it above 4.5 out of 5 stars on multiple websites.We Highly recommend this mid-upper (looking) class restaurant with it’s very accommodating mixture of Irish food, drink, theme, sports bar and plenty of well spaced dining.
