An experience!. Had the half garbage plate and not sure who would need more. The homemade bread was very good. I can’t understand how it is possible to have eggs, onions, peppers, ham, and cheddar combine to be a bit bland, but that was my experience. Many reviews warned about the wait and the staff, but we did not wait. Decided to sit at the counter. Ended up having a fun, communal experience with three sets of strangers gabbing and interacting with the staff coming and going from the grill and coffeepots. You can watch the cook make pile after pile of garbage plates, and I do not know how it could go faster without using prefab food. Overall, a good experience!
The trash lid breakfast is as advertised!! Very good. Come to eat cuz it is a lot of food.
Went yesterday. My husband has the garbage plate and liked it. I had pancakes with eggs. They were terrible. The taste was indescribable and it stuck to my teeth. Ordered a cinnamon bun to go. It was underdone and there was little spots of brown. No cinnamon taste.
A Local Tradition. Been here multiple times when visiting town. Haven’t had a bad meal yet! And yes, you have to get off your rear to pay your bill!! You gotta learn the rules, it is part of the experience. Watch the locals and do accordingly. ;-))
The service and food was excellent. I have a new favorite place. Can’t believe I’ve never been here. Loved it.
Good to try at least once. Its unhealthy but super quaint. Hipsters go there
