Don’t answer the phone. I was going to place a nice order for BBQ but no one answers the phone…sorry, my money will go other places.
If you like your hot links boiled and then deep fried instead of grilled, then you will love this place. Have not been back to try BBQ because I can’t for the life of me understand why they are not smoking or grill those links…
Listed as delivery/ Not on Sunday?. We were all ready for something other then pizza and Chinese food and they don’t deliver on Sundays?
AMAZING! Their sauce is so good unlike any other sauce I’ve ever tried. If you like great food disregard any bad review and try it. Some1 told me once they were bad so I never tried it until my husband made me one day and I’ll never eat ribs anywhere else!
Very Good!. I have had Hillery’s many times and have never had a bad experience! The food has been wonderful every single time. I love the BBQ sauce- it’s nice and tangy. I do wish the side of coleslaw was a little bigger, but they give a very large amount of food for the entree (I always have left overs so I probably wouldn’t be able to eat a larger side anyway!) I don’t understand the negative comments on here – as far as the food goes anyway- I really like it!! We usually order from there when we have a large party and everyone gets something. No complaints from anyone!!GOOD FOOD- DEFINITELY WORTH A TRY!!! 😀
When I first heard about this place, I was ecstatic and overwhelmed by finally finding a soul food restaurant in kenosha. It was a disappointment, however; the price was a little bit too much, and it seems like they are trying a little too hard to make their BBQ sauce different. Spice is good, but not that good in BBQ. The ribs were very dry and too tough. You can’t cover that up with any amount of sauce! Like Hillary’s tries to. They do not give out enough coleslaw either! That’s one of the best parts about soul food restaurants; the large portions of side dishes and condiments. But not here. They charge too much for their quality of food and in small quantities. I guess this isn’t Kansas City or Memphis.
