The food was not very well prepared and it took a very long time. My poached eggs arrived on tiny portobello caps and were swimming in liquid that was supposed to be a sauce. The vegetables that were substituted for the potato side were so salty I had to send them back, and they forgot the toast until I reminded them. The coffee was overpriced and had a ton of ground at the bottom of the cup. The waitress barely looked at us half the time and I had to flag her down to finally get our bill. The menu sounds good, but the preparation of the food was extremely disappointing and the service was sub par. I do not recommend this place.
My travels led me to this quaint little restaurant in downtown Kenosha. After telling the waitress that I trusted her, the cooks prepared for me a large Belgian waffle. This waffle came with a sweet maple glaze, garnished with fried apple slices, and whole cashews. The flavors/textures mixed well into a very pleasant dining experience. Definitely worth going out of your way for.
